About Us

Timber and Light was started by two guys who met at business school, Rob and Jason. We wanted to turn our passion for hand-made, solid timber furniture and home decor, into a business. Our initial focus has been around providing quality, New Zealand designed and hand-made, solid timber floating shelves using American Ash and uniquely designed alloy brackets suited to the New Zealand building standard (stud distances).

We have a lot more ideas in the pipeline, but for now floating shelves are what we are known for and what New Zealander's are loving. We can supply Oak, Rimu, Pine and other timber floating shelves on request.
