Our Rimu Floating Shelves

Unfortunately, the supply of Rimu is virtually non-existent. We wanted to inform you of what to expect if you choose to order Rimu shelves. We have had nil supply for the past six weeks, but have found another small supply from Christchurch recently, however it is 'rustic' grade Rimu. This means that it has some silkworm holes (different from borer), knots, splits etc. We fill, glue etc to smooth and disguise these blemishes and you can see from the photos, the result is very satisfactory. In our opinion, we think it adds character to the shelf.
