About Us

Timber and Light was started by two guys who met at business school, Rob and Jason. We wanted to turn our passion for hand-made, solid timber furniture and home decor, into a business. Our initial focus was around providing quality, New Zealand designed and hand-made, solid timber floating shelves using American Ash and uniquely designed alloy brackets suited to the New Zealand building standard (stud distances). Since then we have expanded our offering in timber chooses, products and finish options.
